Awarded Dr. Colleen Morris a matching grant of $2,500 in order for her to carry out groundbreaking experiments locating the chromosome and site responsible for Williams syndrome.

Awarded Dr. Sharon Libera of Granby, MA a grant of $100 to make a video of her talented son, John, being taught piano by the Suzuki method.

Initiated and co-sponsered Music and Arts Camp at Belvoir Terrace in Lenox, MA. Awarded camp scholarships and a grant of $1,000/year (1995; 1996) to Belvoir Terrace.

Encouraged and funded a survey administered by professionals at the University of California to determine musical and other interests of WS individuals.

Broadened its Board of Trustees to include seven individuals experienced and committed to serving WS families.

Initiated and advised EOPI Productions in its recent 57 minute TV documentary: Williams Syndrome: A Highly Musical Species. The film was first shown in Holland, September 3, 1996, and was awarded the Crystal Heart for best full length documentary by the prestigious Heartland Film Festival.
