This is BriannawpeB.jpg (4493 bytes) during our August 2001 family vacation in Florida. Brianna is 3 years 10 months old, weighs 36 pounds and is 40" tall. She was recently diagnosed May 7th and has no medical issues. We live in central New Jersey.

Favorite foods are Mexican rice and beans, black bean soup, guacamole, chips and salsa, pancakes, fruit, soy milk, peanut butter, and veggie sausages. Also, LOLLIPOPS!

Brianna attends the Goddard School (a mainstream preschool) in the morning and after lunch is bused to the Preschool Disabilities Program at our public school. She is receiving OT, PT and Speech.

Our school district is also paying for Music Therapy and Tomatis Sound Listening Therapy for her. Brianna has a great love of, and a tremendous response to, music. She also displays excellent memorization skills for song lyrics.

Brianna had her sound sensitivity successfully treated with the Berard Method of Auditory Integration Training – a method to correct how you hear sound. We are currently doing the Tomatis Method of Sound Listening Therapy to help improve how she processes sound. We have seen tremendous results from these therapies and strongly recommend it.

We are blessed to have such a sweet, loving child who has taught us to become better parents and people. We are grateful to the people who have supported us and for the new friends we have made in the WS and Special Ed communities. You can reach Janet, Tyrone and Brianna Kimble at tyrone@optonline.net.
