Hello.  This is my son, DALLAS STORM MCCOY.   Dallas was born 8/15/2001 to me and his mother.  He was born weighing at 5 lbs 12 ozs. and overnight dropped to 5.5 lbs.  He was always sick and by the time he was 6 months old, he was in the hospital at least 6 times.  Altogether, he spent about 3 months in the hospital.  His primary care physician had told CPS that it was prenatal neglect and that we were not trying  to bond with him, feed, or take care of him.  He was comparing my son to his son.

Just after Dallas was 1, we went to a doctor in Tulsa, OK.  As soon as she walked in the room, she said Dallas had Williams syndrome. I asked what that is and she started telling us.   They did the FISH test and we got the news that it was WS.  He has gone on to have many doctor appointments and to have the problems that come with WS.

Dallas is now 8 years old, and doing good.  He is obsessed with racing, race cars and the WWE star, JOHN CENA.  He loves to play with my mother's hair.  It is like a soothing security blanket.  He likes soft music and anything that lights up -- such as flashlights and toys and anything that he can spin.  Dallas is a very bright and outgoing little boy and he has showed me that with all the bad things that can come from any medical problem, that it can not hold you back.  He will someday be a great guy and I look forward to seeing him as a teenager and adult.

I have faith that he will live a very long life and be a great guy when he gets older.  He is my rock, my moon, and stars.  Thank you for the website for me to get more info on WS.
