James was born May 5, 1984. 
The doctor mentioned his heart murmur at birth
and referred us to a great cardiologist who recognized his facial features as those of
children he had seen with WS. James attends a regular high school and a
"work-ability" program. He has gone to every school dance since middle
school (he is a great dancer with natural rhythm) and went to his high school prom with
his girlfriend. We always refer to James as "famous" because everyone in
town knows him and greets him when we're out and about. His loving, friendly nature
touches every heart.
