Jamie
Sprague is six years old and in kindergarten.
Jamie continues to do well both medically and developmentally. He is about a year behind developmentally and physically (size). He is fascinated by clowns, circuses, motorcycles, and trains. He also loves the Nutcracker story and carries his wooden soldier around just like the little girl Marie does in the story. He is a wonderfully caring and outgoing child. He is very inquisitive and loves to talk. He loves dancing, listening to music, singing, and going to gymnastics. Jamie also adores his little sister Kelsea, who is three years old and does not have Williams Syndrome. They are truly best buddies. Medically, Jamie has mild supravalvular aortic stenosis. We have had issues with inguinal hernias (fixed with surgery), small bowel obstruction (fixed with surgery), hypothyroidism, and rectal prolapse (ongoing treatment). We love meeting other families touched by WS in the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia area. Please feel free to contact us.
