Here is Mary Mendoza, born 1/6/98.  Mary was diagnosed with a positive FISH at 16 months after her failure thrive lead doctors to discover her SVAS in her heart.  For Mary, our developmental concerns focus on walking and talking ( she started walking at 23 months, YEA!).  Early intervention has helped her make remarkable progress in these areas.  Mary does not have sensory problems, sensitive hearing nor show signs of spatial reasoning deficits.   She does suffer from constipation, low weight gain, and heart problems.
