Riley

Back Up Next

Riley is now 3yrs. old and is doing amazing.  We are so proud of her!

She was born on Jan. 13, 2005 and diagnosed at the age of 6months.  She has a mild aortic stenosis that we get checked annually now (instead of every 6months).  She has been released from her therapies and is continuing to amaze us daily.  Her speech has picked up so much from where it was 3-6 months ago.  We can't get a word in edgewise half the time.

One of her favorite things to do is eat... food.. food.. food.. all the time.  And anything with cheese or sugar tops her list.  She is very peculiar when it comes to textures still.  She doesn't like bread unless it's croissants or tortillas.  That's just one of her many quirks!  She has a few, as most WS kids do.

She LOVES to play outside.  She recently got a swing set that we can't keep her off of.  She is still very cautious when it comes to things that she is uncertain of, like the teeter-totter or going too high on the swing, but she acclimates to things pretty quickly.

We love to hear other peoples' stories and see pictures.
