This is Samantha Shell. 
My husband
and I recently found out that our daughter has Ws. We are
still in the beginning stages of finding out what it is all
about. Samantha is 2 1/2. She was born January
22, 2004. She has an older brother, Damon, and a
younger brother, Brendon.
Our doctor had no idea that she had Ws. We found out because I asked to see a growth specialist and he was the one that did a FISH test on her. We live in Twin Falls, Idaho. We have to go to Boise or Salt Lake to get any kind of treatment.
Samantha is doing great. Her heart is fine so far
and we are crossing our fingers on that. Her mental
development is right on target for a 2 year old. We
just finished potty training. Anyway, I would love to
hear more about Ws kids so I can get an idea of what I am
