This is Sophie Jane.  Sophie was diagnosed with Ws via FISH test at 7 months old based on her SVAS and developmental delays.  Sophie is 5 years old as of September 2007.  She is a strong and healthy young lady who attends her local kindergarten.  Sophie is very happy and bestows the most contagious smile on those she meets.  She sings herself through most of her days.  She loves going to school and is learning and growing each day, so far we have had a supportive and inclusive public school experience.  Sophie enjoys music, looking at books, talking about race cars, computer games, loving (and squishing) bugs, riding her bike and her gymnastics and music classes.  She has a large family in Oregon and more friends than I can keep up with.  For more information on Sophie and Sophie's Run: a 5K run/walk to raise awareness of Williams Syndrome visit www.sophiesrun.com
