My daughter, Bristol Yvonne Stein, was born on July 8, 2009 and diagnosed with William Syndrome on her first Birthday. She has had a rough road. Bristol is now 17 months old.
She has hydronrphrosis, enlarged kidney, reflux of the kidneys, acute kidney failure, hypercalcemia, left ventricular hypertrophy (thickened muscle), smallish/narrowed left lung artery, LPA stenosis, tiny amount of narrowing in pumping chambers stenosis, aorta above valve, far-sightedness, and is developmentally delayed.
Bristol has had 2 surgeries -- one on her heart patent duetus arteriosus PDA coal in her heart, and one to correct a hernia in her ovary.
She is the strongest little girl I know, and has been through a lot. The main thing right now is keeping her Calcium down -- it gets up to 17.8.
Bristol lives in
Bellevue, OH with her Mom, Sammie Hasselbach, her Dad, John Stein,
Jr., and her big brother, Landon Hasselbach.
Thank you,
Sammie
