This is our son Daniel Alexander (ZAN).
He
was born February 14, 1993. He was diagnosed with Williams
Syndrome in March of 1994 by his cardiologist. He had open heart
surgery at 18 mos. to repair aortic stenosis and had surgery
again in November 2006. He was in ICU for a total of 73 hours
and then sent home!

Daniel is doing okay. We have just been told that he has "a bit of regurgitation" at his last check up and he will be closely monitored. During his last surgery, his older brother started a "myspace" page to keep our family updated and, to our surprise, we received numerous friend requests from family & friends of children with Williams. Daniel will be starting
9th grade in the fall. He loves music and Disney movies, &
Bruce Campbell. He is the 2nd oldest and has 5 siblings -- 2
brothers & 3 sisters. He lives in Texas with Mom & Dad, who
would love to hear from other parents!
