This is my daughter, Olivia. She is 4 years old, born on July 30, 2002.

Olivia was always a demanding baby -- crying a lot. She had reflux and feeding problems from birth. She is developmentally behind, but her speech is advanced -- saying a lot of phrases that you would not hear a four-year-old say.

She is the parrot in our house -- repeating everything. Olivia has a fantastic memory for names and past places. She adores all adults and can be very loving. She loves music, but does not like a lot of sounds.

She does not sleep a lot, for which she has melatonin. She has severe constipation, for which she has meds. Olivia has a very poor squint which will require surgery in the near future. She has had two operations on her ears.

Olivia has just started school and she is well loved. As a mother, she is hard work, but she is my unique child. She lights my life up. She's always happy, with a cheeky smile.
